Member Organisations

Members provide essential support to both our organisation, and apprenticeships in general in Victoria. Any employer can become a Member Organisation of GGT/AV for a small annual subscription fee. We invite all of our host employers to consider becoming Members. Members are entitled to additional services and discounts from our organisation.

Member Benefits

Members are entitled to the following services:

A free, comprehensive consultancy service for any matter related to apprenticeships, traineeships and vocational education and training. In addition to visits from their field officers, contact with senior management staff of GGT/AV for assistance with any issues;

Invitation to Board meetings and Annual General Meetings;

Discounted rates for the use of AV Recruitment and AV Innovations’ (Building and Construction) services;

A bi-annual Members Update which is sent to all Members advising of current news and events in our organisation;

Public acknowledgment of their support through our company prospectus, promotional advertisements, free advertising on our website and invitations to GGT/AV events such as our 25th anniversary celebrations in 2007.

In addition, Members have input on the strategic direction of our organisation, both directly (our Board of Directors is selected from representatives of Member Organisations) and indirectly (we provide Members with copies of our Business Plan and Annual Reports, and invite them to contact us with recommendations or suggestions about how our organisation should develop its services and operations in the coming financial year).
