Every year up to 16 GGT/AV apprentices gain essential skills and trade experience by working alongside the professional, highly skilled motor mechanics at UltraTune.

Apprenticeships Victoria (AV) is a division of Gippsland Group Training Ltd (GGT), one of Australia’s best recognised regional group training organisations.
As Apprenticeships Victoria, we serve the metropolitan Melbourne and East Gippsland regions 
with the same exceptional levels of service that have made us the first choice of hundreds of employers in Gippsland.
All of our employees work for both GGT and AV, so regardless of which of our sites you contact, our staff are ready and willing to help with your query! GGT/AV is a Quality Endorsed Company and is accredited with the Australian Government as an Australian Apprenticeships Centre and Registered Training Organisation.
Organisation Structure
GGT/AV is a geographically and operationally diverse organisation, employing many dedicated, specialist staff. Each department of our organisation fulfills a particular role, however the business units overlap and our staff are expected to work flexibly across several operational areas.
Group Training
Group Training involves the recruitment, employment and mentoring of apprentices and trainees, organising their training and hiring them for work placements with host employers. Every GGT/AV apprentice has a dedicated field officer, in most cases a qualified tradesman themselves, who is responsible for meeting with employers, explaining our services and arranging work placements for their group of apprentices.

Registered Training
GGT/AV is a Registered Training Organisation which specialises in building, electrical, automotive and engineering trades. We offer free training to all of our own apprentices, and fee-for-service training to the wider public. All of our instructors are highly qualified, experienced tradespeople with a wide range of industry experience.

AAC
Australian Apprenticeships Centre services (or AAC) form another important tier to the service that GGT/AV provides to the wider community. As an AAC, we employ field officers and administrators responsible for providing advice and support to apprentices and employers in any trade, throughout Melbourne and Gippsland. In particular, the AAC department helps employers to sign up apprentices in a Training Contract, the official document which starts their apprenticeship.

Corporate Services
The Corporate Services department includes the Finance, IT, Human Resources and marketing functions of our organisation and is responsible for managing these important parts of the business as well as providing internal support to all operational areas (Group Training, Registered Training and AAC).
