Employer Services

Our AAC staff assist many thousands of employers every year to find, employ and train apprentices and trainees. We are dedicated to providing the highest levels of advice and support to employers, to ensure your business benefits from the employment of an Australian apprentice.

Amongst other things, we can :

Help you to locate an apprentice for your business;

Sign up your apprentice in a Training Contract;

Manage all of the administrative paperwork involved in getting an apprentice started in your business;

Visit your workplace at any time to assist you with questions about apprenticeships or traineeships;

Direct you to information about Registered Training Organisation, apprentice award rates or entitlements;

Advise you or your apprentices about the rights and responsibilities of various parties to an apprenticeship;

Help you to claim the maximum amount of financial incentives that you are entitled to as an employer;

Provide advice to your apprentices about incentives or bonuses that they may be entitled to;

If you wish, put you in contact with other GGT/AV departments, that offer training or recruitment services.

In keeping with our spirit of service to employers, when you sign up an apprentice with AV, we remain in contact with you throughout the apprenticeship to assist with other employment issues that may arise, help you to access incentives and ensure the apprenticeship is running smoothly. All of these services are completely obligation free and free of charge.
